Teachers & Staff

Grants can be requested for classroom supplies, curriculum and learning materials. All requests will need approval from LJE Administration/MUSD plus the approval by our board members. We unfortunately are unable to fund any furniture or fixtures.

 

For field trips, Ms. Tracey will be coordinating all buses, please finalize your plans by September 30, 2025 to ensure good pricing and availability. For any field trip tickets, we are increasing our budget this year to include $20 per student plus the classroom teacher and up to five parent chaperones.

 

When a grant request is submitted, PTA board members will review it at the next available PTA meeting, typically held the first Tuesday of each month. Not all requests will be approved. We strongly recommend to send for approval before purchasing any items.

 

Receipts dated between 7/1/2025 - 11/1/2025 must be submitted by 11/22/2025. Receipts dated between 11/2/2025 - 5/9/2026 must be submitted by 5/9/2026. These deadlines ensure we have enough time to vote and get checks distributed efficiently. Please allow up to 7 school days for us to distribute checks after the meeting. If you are waiting on any reimbursement check for over 7 days, please email us at hello@lje-pta.org.

 

All of these funds increase when you support in communicating with students throughout the year. We will be distributing approved flyers to be sent home, and ask for your assistance in adding these events to your classroom calendars and/or Parent Square messaging, when possible.
